Firstly, please accept my condolences for your loss.
Saying goodbye to a loved one is a difficult time but one which you will want to be tailored to your wishes.
During this time of shock and grief, there will be many things to consider and, as a professionally trained and qualified celebrant, I will aim to support you in those decisions for the service in the most respectful , sensitive and dignified way possible.
How I can help
To ensure that the service reflects your loved one, I will come and meet with you so that you can share with me important information and memories of your loved one. You may like to have other family members or close friends present to support you and to add to and share their memories. We can also talk about what you would like included in the service such as readings, poems and music. I will then liaise with your chosen Funeral Director to coordinate and meet your requirements.
The eulogy is a special way to reflect on a person's life, to celebrate and to pay tribute to them. I will prepare this, share it with you and then deliver this at the service. If you or another mourner would prefer to do this I can also help in writing the eulogy if needed.
It is a privilege to find the right way to allow you to say goodbye to your loved one and I will take great care to make the service a respectful one.
